I am about 18 months old. I ended up somehow at a really
crowded hotel for dogs. A very nice man saw me & just couldn't leave me
behind. I am VERY affectionate and outgoing. I would rather be petted than
eat, tho I do like my treats! I am pretty darn active and athletic....I
can take off like a rocket! I have a VERY strong herding drive & I like to
herd anything that moves. I am smart and willing. When Mom says "here!", I
come a runnin! I walk nicely on leash right at your side. I am housebroken
& do not do the bad-boy stuff. I'm very mannerly in the house. I don't get
on the counter or furniture. I am very patient w/ bathing and toenail
trimming, tho not thrilled of course. :-) I would make a really great
agility dog, a loving companion for an active person, a jogging companion,
or even a 4H obedience dog for an intelligent teenager. Of course Border
Collies always need "a job" to keep their active minds busy.....so, don't
forget that!
